Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Very true. A suicidal person may very well want to live, but they simply cannot continue living in the state they're in, and they can't see how to escape that state.

There are soo many dimensions of being suicidal and then finally doing it. Emotional, mental, practical, existential and even spiritual. I wish people try to understand at least one of them.

I believe that many people ctb as life simply becomes unbearable. They get desperate to be free from the pain of living. We are all human and there is only so much we can take. I do agree with the quote. To me it is horrific how much suffering even exists in this world.

suicide is the acceptance that truly living is impossible for the current iteration of reality one finds oneself stuck in

I want to live so bad but the disease I'm dealing with has me completely strangled. I'd do anything to live again. It's just so fucking insane this happens to people.

And when I kill myself, I'll be known as a quitter. Soft. "In his head." Fucking joke.

This is a very accurate comparison. Living in agony a bit longer vs ending it with less pain. ctb is a rational act in many cases. Some would say that if a person is under 25 and physically healthy (not in physical danger), they are likely being impulsive. Everything is relative. And who are we to judge.... if we can't change the reason a person suffers then why are we judging?
