personally? i am NOT ready for 2025. i feel like its just getting worse and worse by the years come and 2025 is going to be completely horrible. ill probably live to see 2025 and maybe 2026, but man i am not ready for it.

I don't see how things will get better especially in the US, I have a feeling everything will continue to spiral out of control in way's millennials, Gen z and Gen alpha have yet to witness.

That's exactly how I feel. I don't think people realize what's coming. I guess I've studied history too much. I've learned, just by studying and reading it, to never assume what won't happen. People nowadays, even after seeing the behavior caused by COVID, still don't think that things can and will fall apart. I feel so bad for people having kids in all of this. I guess COVID was my point of no return. I can't unsee the deterioration of human behavior that was caused by it.

I'm Gen X as well. I guess our generation really can't fathom things actually being bad. We fail to realize the uniqueness of the time we're living in. Freedom is basically a new concept in the history of humans. It's going to be interesting to see how all of this plays out. It's like there's a peaceful transition of chaos going on right now. Like a 'calm' before the storm. Like the powers that be have decided to let people have one last holiday season before 'the change' starts. That's why I wish nothing but the best to those who are continuing into 2025 and beyond. I'm glad I'm leaving.
