wish I felt the same as the majority here.
i guess that looking somewhat pretty when i die will give me some comfort. as if I'd be a way to tell those who stayed that i felt good about it, that i am ok. i don't know really.

I don't know if I am right about my choice.

I do know that I have lived my entire life for others, never really for myself, so maybe my choice is selfish.

That being said, I think it IS about comfort in your last moments - so whatever you choose to do about how you look and what gives you comfort is the right choice even if it differs from others (IMO).

I don't like the idea of anyone seeing my naked corpse. For any reason. I would prefer to let the animals and bugs get it in nature. Although I wouldn't want animals to get it if I had taken SN or any poison.

I don't want it to be too unpleasant for whoever finds me or my family, but aside from that I don't really care how I look. Aside from body dismorphia, which never really goes away, I haven't cared about my appearance for a long time. It definitely won't matter when I'm dead, I won't be able to be embarrassed or self conscious. I definitely understand why it would be important to some people, but personally all that matters to me is that I'm not leaving a huge mess and I'm causing as little mental damage to others when I'm found, so I probably won't do anything special.

now that I made peace with death, and no longer waist time wondering about it, I have more than enough to spend on more trivial matters. how will I look after death suddenly became a thing for me.

i was never one to worry much about appearance, but somewhat i do not wish to look bad after I die. i chose an outfit, will do my nails, use a body hair trimmer and of course avoid as much as possible incontinence accidents.

i know it's impossible to look astounding when dead. decomposing is inevitable. still, i care about it for some reason.

does anyone care for it as well? what are your thoughts on the matter?

I do think about it but it doesn't really bother me as it wont be my problem if the under takers laugh at my body it's up to them I'm not planning a violent method so if any of my family wont to visit me in the chapel of rest they can but I think it's more likely that people will want to dance on my grave particularly my ex wife and her mother

mate, the technologies are literally so behind than our expectations.
They won't be able to resurrect us for another 1 thousands years which is a safe bet :D

This is another thing I switch my mind off to. I'm overweight so my body is going to look terrible. If I hang I'm going to open my bowels probably so that's going to be gross anyway. My head would be purple maybe if it's still attached. I try not to think of all that because then I start thinking if it was a member of my family that would devastate me more than the death

Yes it matters to me I would never want somebody to find me with my brains all over the ceiling for instance. Given that I'm not too worried about it general, As far as matching clothes in the like.

Well my parents weren't concerned about my body appearance I'd have to suffer with while alive (otherwise they wouldn't have brought me here. :P) so I'm not concerned about the appearance of my body once I am dead. :P

I'm pretty sure I will be decomposed when and if they find me. I'm leaving my windows open so maybe the smell will help someone figure it out. Although a neighbors house smells like dog piss when the door is left open for too long so maybe they will only come when the bills die off. Think the bill collector finds a lot of bodies because of that?

Its funny how I always think about my suicide and how my body will be disposed of (cremated) but not the middle part. Like how ppl will find me in order to call the police. I'll be living alone since not only does my method but mental peace call for it. I guess I could order a package ahead of time and leave a note on the door handle telling the postman to call the police.
