According to The Holy Bible, there are three states in life: this life, life in between and eternal life. According to The Holy Bible, we will get eternal life if we believe in Jesus. When we die, we can end up in heaven or in hell. But religious scriptures are written by humans and can be made up. If life is suffering, life can be the worst hell. I am an atheist so I believe that death is the end of everything. There are no proof of eternal life. Are you an atheist, an agnostic or religious?

I've been all of those! LOL

I was raised as a Catholic and fortunately, I started reading a lot and became an ATHEIST!

However, I realized that I'm not really an atheist because I can't prove there's no God. I just see no evidence of him/her/it so, I became an AGNOSTIC! A God? It could be but I don't see them so, I just believe in my family and my lovely dog but if he/she/it shows up and explains to me the true meaning of the universe of life while showing me their superpowers, COOL! I'll believe in him/her/it.

If there's just nothing and we're a goddamn unexplainable accident, well, I'll hate that but I'll have to cope with it. There's nothing I can do about it.

I'm an atheist. I believe after death we return to the same nothingness that we were at before we were alive. I believe that that this life has no greater meaning and is essentially purposeless. It doesn't seem logical to me that there is some higher power in this cruel world and I think people use religion to try and convince themselves that they suffer for a purpose.

You forget that there is also purgatory. However, I sincerely always live in doubt. I was raised as a Catholic and for a period of my life I deeply believed in God, in Jesus and in the Virgin Mary and in the Holy Spirit. I prayed with all my heart incessantly and went to mass almost every day. I studied the bible and the lives of the saints. I also thought about embracing the monastic life. I felt like I was living inside a bubble and an illusion of my own, which I had created for myself in my head.It was like I was under a spell. Then suddenly one morning I woke up and taking the figure of Jesus (Which I used every day to pray and whom I adored) I realized that I was a fool to talk to an image.I felt I have a strong feeling of disappointment and bitterness and after that day I was no longer able to pray and believe. However, the stories about hell and purgatory remained impressed on me:It is said that the worst suffering here is in no way comparable to the sufferings that will be experienced in hell or purgatory.I hope that this is not true and that there is peace for everyone after death ... no one deserves punishment, for this there is already life

My family is Buddhist, but I solely am a atheist. I believe all these religions are human made up just for humans to have a "belief" for their ongoing life and something that is to be there for them to continue and hope/pray to as a satisfaction for their mentality. There is 0 evidence fact that god/gods exist in this world. One thing I do strongly believe is science and part of me believes there's something so much bigger than just this world. Thinking life as a simulation isn't so crazy if you really think about it. If this world is so big, thinking about the universe, the galaxy and whatever beyond that. It not something a human brain can imagine. Comparing to all that, our planet earth, or us human as a Individual, we are really nothing but a small piece of sand compared to the bigger picture.
