Young doesn't really understand the meaning of life and death and are ignorant , celebrities can easely get ton of high quality drugs, people in the past had easy access to barbiturics, nembutal, guns.
Where's the point of knowledge if you can't get the means?

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I feel like some people are lacking the "Just do it" mentality that those people seem to overcome so easily, well, I am anyways.

There is so much suffering in my life I have no idea why I haven't been able to end it yet. It's almost embarrassing at this point.

It´s easier to do as a teenager especially with depression because then you have a great emotional drive from the teenage hormones racing through your body, the depression and also the fact that at that age your frontal cortex isn´t fully developed so a lot of your thinking is emotional from the amygdala (the part of the brain controlling emotions)

I so wish I had killed myself as a teenager because I had so much drive to do it as mentioned above and it felt so good to think about suicide and everything sorrounding it but I stupidly decided to give life another chance and now I am an adult with no teenage hormones racing through my body and I have become apathetic and have anhedonia so I don´t feel emotions anymore i.e. no depression so no sadness either as a drive just nothing.

What drugs simulate teenage hormones?

Well there is always testosterone for males to give you the younger guy´s sex drive and energy but I don´t think it´s possible to get any drugs to simulate the phase of being a teenager you have to remember in that time all these feelings are so new because we are so ignorant to them but as we grow older we get used to them that is why I always say knowledge and wisdom is the killer of ignorance and happiness because the more me know the less interesting, fun, magical life becomes because there is no mystery left to explore.

many suicide attempts fail and the vast majority of people survive their suicide attempts because they do it impulsively. We want to do reasearch to find methods that are lethal and relatively painless.

I first attempted at 13 and this is exactly why I failed- I chose an unreliable method out of impulsivity. I also had terrible executive functioning so I could not plan things for shit. And my father was abusing me relentlessly so I was rushing to end it all. I really was dumb. I wish I had that same impulsivity now, though.
