it seems like a method i havent seen discussed but surely it shouldnt be hard to put together some contraption that could just fry you at the flip of a switch right?
like take a look at hobbyist electronics yioutube channels they seem to be able to get alot of shit to build some complex stuff pretty easily
surely you should be able to make some kind of garunteed ctb setup with this stuff right?

To answer your question on short: Execution by the electric chair is by far not peaceful.

If death by electricity would be so effective there would be far more suicides using electric power.

When I first started browsing this site (over a year ago) someone posted about an electrical engineer that electrocuted himself in order to end his life.

So it does happen. I guess you need to have the knowledge for it though, I couldn't imagine it would be pleasant unless you'd know how to make it quick? Not sure.

i didnt say electric chair though, also like idc about peaceful really all i care about is in theory is it effective. id be willing to go through a non peaceful death with a high chance of working

but again it doesnt have to be an electric chair im thinking like is it possible to build some contraption which zapd you with enough current to just instantly like fry you (or atleast like it somehow bypasses/disables your nerves or something?)

Death occurs bc electric current causes heart arrhythmia. The problem is, it's unpredictable which ways the current is gonna take through your body. Right through the heart would probably be the best way but that's almost impossible imo. You probably also need more than the 110V / 230V. Don't get me wrong, this can be lethal but there's no guarantee! Also, there's probably a ground fault circuit interrupter (or similar device) for safety reasons installed at your home.

Most electric sockets don't provide enough voltage to kill you because of all the safety requirements, so you would need a way to provide a very large amount of power. Electric chairs use thousands of volts. It would also be very complicated to setup and the person would need to restrain themselves while being electrocuted. It would be much easier to acquire chemicals required for poisoning in methods like SN.

idc about easiness really this is purely theoretical but like again it shouldnt be too hard to get the stuff you need to build a complicated setup to get enough current and voltage, like if you check the youtube channel i linked he makes some very high voltage stuff.; not the easiest to get but also not impossible

i figure you could just make a transformer to step up the voltage from a wall outlet no? I was actually thinking about this a lot earlier. I think my plan would be to create an ac signal with a very high rms value. I'd take the pads from an AED, and put one on my back, and the other infront of my heart, that way the current travels right through it. Mind you, im currently failing electricity and magnetism, so let me know if there's something im completely forgetting lol.
