Are antiemetics absolutely necessary with SN

I have the benzos and propranolol. Will this be enough along with the SN?
Oh and I do have Zofran, but I don't think this is the right antiemetic. I also have Seroquel which I take for sleep and it works on dopamine but not sure if this would be good enough either.

Antiemetics are not necessary, but highly recommend. There have been users here who ctb with only SN so while it is certainly possible, using a dopamine blocking AE will make your passing easier. If you are not able to aquire an AE like meto or domperidone do keep an extra SN cup in case you throw up.

Thank you, I just ordered metoclopramide online so I guess I'll have everything but opioids.

Would risperidone work as a dopamine blocker? I saw it listed in Stan's guide and I saw some people use quetiapaine, another antipsychotic, successfully.

This very rarely happens. Usually the first glass (25g of pure SN) will finish you off. The reason why so many people is because they are found, they call help, their SN is of low purity or they ingest too little of it. Nobody as far as I know had a failed attempt because he vomited too quickly, but ingested 25g of pure SN.

Thank you, though I've seen videos of people dying (not fun to watch) from SN who didn't take an antiemetic and though they pass pretty quickly and don't seem to be in pain, the spitting up does look uncomfortable.

Worth noting that antiemetics don't ensure you won't throw up, so be prepared to vomit even if you do take an AE.

Yeah, it should work okay.

Nope. They just make sure so you pass out quicker and maybe help with the SI.

I'm not sure actually. It is an AE but doesn't effect dopamine receptors. Usually, dopamine blocking AEs are recommended. Sorry for not being of any help. I had easy access to meto so I never bothered to look up other AEs

It's alright. It is indeed not very effective. But i have to commit Tommorow

Please make sure you don't rush it!! Ctb can always be delayed until you've acquired everything you need. Either way, I hope it all works out for you
