Why are you talking to your doctor about aliens?

I disagree with antidepressants on the whole. We don't know enough about the human brain to be playing roulette with its chemistry. However, I do believe you could be suffering with psychosis which is either being temporarily controlled by the drugs or caused by sudden discontinuation. Most likely the latter. You see, when antidepressants build up in your system you start to get withdrawals before you've even taken the next dose. Suddenly stopping use could bring on these kind of symptoms.

Did you think about aliens before you were prescribed these drugs?

I think less likely a conspiracy by aliens to cover their tracks and more by the pharmaceutical industry to make billions of dollars for treatments that have no scientific basis for their use.

No they are not used by the government. They are sedating to heal people that over think things. It just so happens that you tend to over think things about the government.

k
Sudden discontinuation means stopping over weeks or months and withdrawals could start months off the drugs. Online withdrawal sites Ann Blake Tracey know more how to stop than the medical profession in General. Now I know. The emotional numbing is awful sooner - you could possibly reduce dose slowing to reduce the numb effect? But would refer to above withdrawal site than Dr!! I know all this now after being destroyed by dr..not saying to scare but it is miserable being stuck on high numbing dose but unable to come off.

l can't see why her thinking aliens are conspiring in controlling her with antidepressants is really that much less credible than a host of other theories that are about. I can point you to a website that will say the Jews are behind it ,maybe all those dudes need antidepressants

Psychiatrists have no clue about the true effect of antidepressants. They have tiny smattering of knowledge and just throw darts at which one to give and hope that you buy into it ,then you wait months weeks to even begin to feel an effect if any at all.if you talk to God you are praying, if god talks to you you are schizophrenic
Can't stand psychiatrists..lack compassion and humility in my experience and are experts in denial at harm causing.

They have a variety of weapons at their disposal to deny any responsibility for their actions.well we can't determine precisely the effect this antidepressants will have si much along those lines

Don't feel bad about thinking it was aliens. I'm sure you had some source that contributed to your thoughts.

The internet is a treasure trove and also one huge rabbit hole. People are paid to make others believe that there are aliens controlling things from a far to keep us from figuring out the real control system. The most popular alien theory is that of the Annunaki, based on findings of the Sumerian tablets. It's definitely BS, but I have a lot of interesting and smart friends who believe in the possibility of aliens controlling things. There is a lot of 'disinfo' out there to lead us to believing that aliens control things.

Yes and if they could experience an adverse effect then they would know why "suicidal thohghts" are listed. Causing torture beyond human endurance.

Ok thank you. It's just anytime i stop taking them i start to think like this.Maybe this is all true and the government make doctors give antidepressants to anyone who speaks about aliens. When i told my doctor about aliens straight away he put me on medication again.
I think the aliens gave these to the government to give to anyone who get to close to the truth.

I'm really frightened now cause i don't know whats real and what's not.
Aliens are not real

Oh god my specialist subject.

I will give my opinion for what it's worth.

In short. Yes. And there are many Psychiatrists that would argue something very similar. Think of work by Professor Joanna Moncrieff and Professor David Healy.

I personally had never experienced any mental health illness until I was prescribed anti-depressants for IBS. That was 20+ years ago. They left me now as an unemployed agoraphobic. I had never had a panic attack until I was prescribed them. Now I've been on every mental health medication there is to have and it leaves me worse and worse.

That said, of course there are some people that will benefit from anti-depressants as we are all unique of course.

There is an excellent book on Anti-depressants called 'Cracked'. It shows that the evidence for their use was lied about and dangerous. Look it up or you can have my copy.

Do they control people. Yes. Those Professors mentioned above (see YouTube) argue that most mental health illnesses are not illness but are in fact stress. Stress from the awful lives we lead. And if you complain you are stressed, we are not encouraged to change our lives or society, we are told the problem is us. And we then take antidepressants to change ourselves!

I doubt it is a conspiracy as such. But it was certainly a conspiracy to make money. And they have made trillions of antidepressants.

Seems quite few people on here damaged from antidepressants and then you find out all these things that we should have known before.

Yeah this. People are too stupid for mass scale conspiracies. Whatever you think of him, Julian Assange wrote some interesting articles about why often things do have the appearance of conspiracy. If I remember correctly he attributes it to specific (sub-)cultural behaviour and pervasive ways of thinking that become common within certain social circles, the subsequent closing off to anyone who thinks differently, which leads to secrecy, either deliberately or by use of highly specific language.
And this can lead to the appearance of conspiracy when it happens in spheres of influence (government and business). But there is no top-down hierarchy as in a real conspiracy. Rather people act in agreement because they share ideas and values.

not that they make you not to get to the truth...but my observations are as following- while taking antidepressants, we become desentized. But there is a valid reasons why people fall into depression, if not for all cases at least for most of them, the hollistic medical specialists are describing them, as someone earlier mentioned Gabor Mate. Basically they put all the blame on the patient, while overlooking the importance of the role of enviroment (micro units- family, macro units -society) .So no one has to deal with the fact that the world is more and more focused on competitiveness and individualism, which makes it pretty harsh for those who are meant to do other things here.. instead of more tribal thinking, communities, feeling of belonging etc...It always comes down to the ones in power, and according to how it monetary benefit them they play chess with us

Antidepressants are meant to cause dependency on psychiatric products, and encourage or force people to be what those who control it want.
Examples:
The government is good and trustworthy.

Being hyperware/protective of self/paranoid/adrenaline rushed is bad.

Being sad and feeling bad when you are treating your body like shit is bad. It is good your body can tell you when you need a lifestyle change. Have you tried all the variables?

Self help is not the primary way to achieve goals.

It is not your fault for what happened in said situation involving you. (Communism)
Maybe it was someone else's fault but fully recognizing all possible variable within your power is the most efficient and productive way of dealing with things.

The main problems with SRRi antidepressants is they don't work much better than an placebo and can be hard to get off of. SRRI many times are used as a way to control whatever behaviors the Psycriatrist deems undesirable. Although everyone is a little crazy espically psycriatrist. Believing in aliens in crazy. Believing in a sky dady that you have a relationship is reasonable. Talking to yourself is praying, God talking to you is schizophrenia.
