Anything happen with the debreather?

So a few months back this thing came out https://www.right2die.org/ and very quickly the buy link started to say what it says now. Nope you can't get it because xyz

I know some people got theirs, but most were looking at making their own since you couldn't buy one. Was

1. this proven to work? Using Soda lime in a system like this would kill someone without pain
2. a simple but working design & part list released that I can follow?
3. information released on what happens to the body when it dies like this (I kinda trust this type of info more on figuring out if it's painful or not)

From what i read they had problems with it( not sure if it was a post on here or in the PPH?). I think it has been taken out of production while they tweak it. Also from going on the site tseems they are changing something or a something to do with a place that sends the product, you cannot purchase it at the moment.
