Discussion Anyone tried Ayahuasca?

I have done a small dose of Ayahuasca I made myself 2 years ago. But I was too sceared and chickened out taking a bigger dose. kind of think might be a last resort before suaside when got nothing else to lose.

Why to try something so strong?
The grip in reality can be cruel when it's about the DMT family
I suggest you to try something easier first (LSD- great for beginners, in low doses ofcourse)

Never done drugs like that so I can't answer. I'm curious to hear what others say though. I heard Ayahuasca is extremely strong, making it all the more scary to me.

Done lsd but prob not enough or microdosed it. Wasn't doing it to get high was in a dark place and very suasidal and realy wanted it's spiritual healing properties. Came across stories where it's made a difference to people who really suffering.

DMT is much stronger but the effects very short, if I remember correct Ayahuasca is very similar to changa

It can also make you mad, you need to think if your a stable person, you can check this movie on DMT (still similar)

i've planed to go to a retreat in peru, but bcz of corona i couldnt travel, i wanna do it asap but it will take a while, im too scared doing it alone but if i wanna ctb anyway, why shouldnt i give it a try and go for the solo trip, maybe i could save a lot of money and gift it to friends then..

The retreats are good, someone to work through the journey and explain things with the sharmen. I wish there was a more local one in my country. I have done lsd a few times even when I had a bad trip (time before info on internet about harm reduction) I Found it an experance. Made some aye by soaking herbs in a pan off internet got some visuals and a presence feeling but was sceared and didn't have bottle at time guess story of my life.

i did a small dose of dmt when i was younger but it scared me, probably not enough to breaktru, since i was a kid i always wanted to be with some shipibo shamans and drink ayahuasca, im not sure but aya sounds less terrifying to me its also easier to brew for me since i did some research a few years ago and both plants are legal at me.. maybe this would be a nice project, i got nothing to lose but the 1 week diet will be hard i guess:D

Yes and have to be off all meds as well :-( one reason I didn't do it again as would be fatal on effexor and wouldn't be a good way to go at all.

Lol £5 was alot then Lsd analogues where legal until 2016 here, I started taking a few after that off net. Good to see and feel something different from b/w life wish I could of done it more. Last time I took his my meds must have blocked it as got nothing and really needed some kind of alternative feeling that I could of experances wonder and ore.

Yeah, you need supervision, like a highly skilled trip sitter. You puke and poop. I think of that as being part of the cleansing ritual.

People have even died at supervised retreats. It's not typical, but it has happened. It's not something for amateurs to try by themselves.
