I would never do it but yeah I've fantasized about it. Walking in with a note that says " I'm sick. Give me the Nembutal and I won't hurt anyone" set it on the desk with a 9 mm on my waist. not that i would actually hurt anyone.

I've definitely fantasized about it. My sibling used to work as a vet tech years ago and occasionally I'd go with just to keep them company if they had duties on the weekend when the clinic was closed. Literally no one else was ever there except us. This was in the 80s/90s so no cameras or anything like that around. Sometimes I think about what if back then i was in the same mental and physical place I am now, how (possibly) easy it might've been to grab some N. Or maybe it wouldn't have been easy. But in my fantasies it is...

Well not a vet but I volunteered at a cat rescue at one point and while looking for a vitamin supplement for one of the cats in the supply cupboard I saw a box of phenobarbital tablets just sitting there. The urge to shove some in my pockets and take it home was indescribable. I didn't in the end though, as phenobarbital might take longer to cause death, and I feel it would simply be wrong to steal from a struggling animal rescue. But it was just sitting there...

There is nothing wrong with this thread. It shouldn't be deleted. Seriously, who cares what the pro lifers think. Suicide should be able to be discussed openly.

It is so cruel and unfair how the vets have N and yet we are not allowed to have it. A peaceful death should be a human right and I deserve to pass away peacefully. No one should have to resort to painful and risky methods. It is selfish expecting people to suffer until old age against their wishes.

What about dressing like vet and going in saying "it's my first day here". Then you grab the N and leave when nobody is watching

When I was working as an IT guy you'd be surprised how many people would let you into their house after telling them you're from the local IT company. In casual clothes and usually a small briefcase.

I have fantasized about this, too. In a different way, though, I would never even think of robbing someone at gunpoint. Or pointing a gun at a person for any other reason. You may have guessed it, I did not grow up in the US ;) Prying the door open, at night, though, is perfectly dreamable to me. Still, we should make sure everyone knows we are not going to do this, ever, or our poor pets will have their peaceful euthanasia taken away, which is certainly not the goal!

If you want something from vet then become friends with one and go ask for it. In the worst case all they can say is "no".

My dad owns a roadside assistance company before that he owned a lock picking business. He has tons of different tools to pick a variety of different locks.

That would be dope. If you had an actual gun to to the robbing then you don't even need to rob them, you could just use it on yourself OR you can buy like a replica or mock gun on the jungle site, attempt to rob and if it works, you're good. If not and the cops come, point the replica at them and the cops will execute you. Seems like a win win and no one gets hurt, except you lol
