  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm not ready to go yet, not am I even certain I want to die. But if I do, I am quite set on SN being the method. I have a source (DMC) but I haven't bought it yet. I don't want to buy it yet, because I worry just having it would lead to me doing it impulsively and I don't want that.

But here is my concern - that not buying SN now may lead to not being able to buy it later. I'm worried about the availability of SN in the coming few years. I think this is based on two factors: 1), the supplier, and 2) our countries' laws on the import of SN.

1) Supplier - I won't give anything away, but many of us know DMC is in a country affected by war at the moment. Does anyone have any idea of what may happen to DMC once the war ends? Meaning, will authorities suddenly care more about this and take legal action against DMC or force them to stop operations? I really don't know if this is the type of country where authorities would ever care about this, but I know DMC has already been exposed to the media and it might be bad publicity for the country in question.

2) Import - SN is becoming more widely known and infamous, and many countries naturally want to prevent the import of SN to individuals within their borders, since we all know what individuals typically use it for. But given that it is for the most part legal, I'm not sure how much countries can restrict its import, and I'm also under the impression that those who provide SN to individuals typically don't label it as such anyway.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm really wondering if I should bite the bullet (lmao) and order now...

I'd personally order it now - DMC sounds like it's having a lot of issues esp in the UK, and idk of any other sources

Order now, it lasts forever. If you're the impulsive type and think you might do something you'll regret, it might be a good idea to put it at a second location, a deposit box for example.

I'm almost certain this stuff will be heavily regulated in most places. They just haven't caught up yet.

That said, DMC is certainly not the only seller. I got mine from a normal chemical company. (Please don't PM me, I won't reply. Some countries are insane enough that they would call me an accomplice in your murder) These sources will 100% disappear.

If you don't live in Canada, Australia, the UK, or New Zealand, where welfare checks from the police have been reported after ordering from DMC, I'd buy it now; I suspect SN will become illegal or at least more heavily regulated in future years.

If you're in the UK there would seem to be a likelihood of Police/Welfare checks if that bothers you. And yes, since SN has now been classified under The Poisons Act and requires a Licence to be sold in the UK, it seems likely that at some point in the (possibly near) future it will become virtually impossible for retail customers to purchase and possibly illegal to possess.

I've thought about it many times and wondered if I'll get SN in the future or not, so just to be on the safe side, I bought more than I actually need and it has a shelf life of 3 years anyway

I think the question you have to ask yourself is, how would you feel X years down the line if you don't have any, but can no longer buy it?

PPEH has to be updated so frequently because the lay of the land changes so often. It's not a stretch to guess that SN will only get harder and harder to get, just like N and nitrogen gas.

"Better to have and not need, than need and not have" is normally what I'd say... but keep in mind, I also want to kill myself quite soon. You are not certain about it, so to me that suggests you still have some hope! I would never want someone buying these kinds of things if they are unsure in any way.

Sorry, my comment isn't on the topic, but I have a question for people who received SN from DMC. How long was it stuck in your country's customs? Mine's been a couple of days so I'm kinda worried, so just wanted to check
