Anyone get the kit from max dog brewing?

Has anyone here ever ordered this? How long did it take for it to be delivered to you?

They say 6-8 weeks on the website for delivery to the U.S. Why is it so long?

I know someone who impulsively ordered one and is now obsessed with worrying about ever getting it and is also embarrassed for having spent (wasted?) so much money without asking this question beforehand.

I wanted to order from MaxDog last year but the only website I saw that delivered from the US is Cyberweld but they only deliver empty tanks if you want nitrogen. Can argon be delivered full or does the same rules apply? I know helium can.

Cyberweld will deliver filled tanks of nitrogen within the U.S. The first time I went on that site, the option looked really tiny on my desktop browser so I didn't see it. It looks a little bigger now, at least on mobile.

It's against U.S. federal law to travel will full tanks of nitrogen. Something ain't right here. Do they fill it up on site or something?

Cyberweld says they ship filled tanks via UPS Ground. From what I understand generally, it is against federal law to ship full tanks of any gas via air transportation.

I'll have to look back into it.

I called a company that delivers tanks and sells nitrogen a couple years ago. When I asked the dude if they delivered full cylinders he lost his shit. Said something along the lines of "HELL NO WE DONT DO THAT SHIT NOBODY DOES THAT SHIT. DATS LIKE DRIVING AROUND WITH A TRUCK BOMB". Well fuck lol. I'm not sure if he misheard me or what. After that I was afraid to ask around.

Anyone who orders from max dog is being a lazy shit. You can spend 25% and get a much better and bigger tank, a solid reliable regulator and a proper hose. Give the rest of the money to someone you love.

Unfortunately the guy I bought my tank only ships to EU customers.
Still I think you should have no issue buing it locally, this is very common type of gad for welding.
With good story about piling up food and using nitrogen in packaging you will be fine!

Thanks man. Before I can do this I'll have to convince my aunt to take me. I have no transportation and she's my payee. If she's cool with Dignitas she should be ok with this.

Looking at my local site (Aust) US$780 is a bit rich. Plus I need to be at least 50 years old and show photo ID as proof. WTF? Then I still need to wait 7 weeks for processing. Fuck Dat.
