• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've had a lot of shitty experiences on sites that claim to be supportive for mental health, yet are actually very comparable to a wolf in sheep's clothing. Such sites do not want to be a liability, thus discussions of suicide remain strictly forbidden, even ones that are vague. I also find such sites to be rather cult-like and rather cliquish. Such sites also do not enjoy those who challenge the common offered solutions of pills and therapy. Often, they are for-profit as well. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. Such sites have actually made my well-being much worse, still, years later. The subject is reflected on with much regret.

Yes. Back in 2018/2019 i used to be on the pro-life Suicide Forum also known as SF.

One thing that really bothered me about that place was how toxic and anti-support it actually was.

Despite it being a suicide forum you are not allowed to talk about your problems openly because some people may get triggered.

Didn't know there was a forum like that, names can certainly be deceiving. It annoys me greatly that in safe spaces people are often disallowed to talk about heavy topics. That's what safe spaces supposedly are for. Definitely sounds like the forums I've been on. Thanks for sharing.
