Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Anyone else have issues with Skrill verification for SN?

No matter how clear of a picture, Skrill just isn't able to verify my ID card and I'm really worried that this nonsense is potentially going to stop me from getting SN and CTBing. Has anyone else had this issue and gotten past it?? I did send a message to customer support as well and I am waiting on a response.
I didn't bother verifying on skrill. The verification process was only for increasing limit (over $300 iirc) and to withdraw money. Since I was only depositing and transferring I didn't verify and it worked for me. If you haven't put money into skrill yet, DON'T. You might lose the money as a lot of others here have. And even in the app store and reddit reviews, tons of people have lost their money. I got lucky but I highly suggest using another payment option.

I had to try the verification a couple times on my phone, try different lighting conditions & angles. Once it worked I was verified quickly.
Needing verification to withdraw money is dumb as hell, they'll get the book thrown at them sooner or later with how bad the verification is. Prosecutors love cases like this.
There's a chance to get your money back if your account is restricted. Harass their support and if that doesn't work report them to your countries financial agencies. And sometimes when they transfer money back to your account the money never reaches. If your account is t restricted withdraw all the money asap.
May I ask how you did it please? If I can't get my money back I'll have to say goodbye to any chance of suicide for a long time as I am unemployed. I called customer service and they claimed they'd get to me in an email but I'm doubting it.

Your going to have to be patient, and do as they ask if they do in order for you to get your money back. You can always look on Reddit and see how other people got their money back. For me I sent a message threatening to report them on a federal level if they didn't unrestrict my account. It took a week for that to happen. For some people they get stuck never getting their money back. I think I just got lucky and was able to withdraw my money and have it reach my bank account without skrill "losing it". Your first job is to wait for them to unrestrict your account, and then withdraw your money back to your bank account asap, and hope that skrill doesn't mess up the transaction which I have seen stories of that happening.
