Opposite for me. I need warm weather. I have hypothyroidism and cool or cold weather doesn't work for me very well. It's actually kind of brutal on me.
I'll take those temps! That is beautiful weather! Sometimes here the 50s are wonderful too! 80s though a bit much, mostly due to humidity. It can be suffocating- not like Missouri or Texas, but just makes you feel yucky physically. But I'll take some good sunshine after a long winter. Sometimes you are over a season and are ready for the next one!I hate cold weather, I hate winter, dressing in multiple layers, starting a cold car, not being able to do shit but rot in the house. I'm very happy that's it's starting to get warmer. 60F-75F is my comfort zone. I don't mine it getting up to the mid 80s, but I live in a humid state so it's not like going outside is gonna kill me. Just sweaty. I do however HATE the insects and allergies summer brings.
Exactly, winter lasts so long in the Midwest by the time it's Christmas I am absolutely over it. I don't mind the 50s, perfect outfit weather. Sleeping in the summer with no aircon blows though, this might be the year I break down and buy one...I'll take those temps! That is beautiful weather! Yeah, no air sucks. Kinda why I like spring and fall. I can just open the windows and it's all good. Plus I feel like winter has been stretching further into April and sometimes May now. I'll take December snow if it means spring by MarchExactly, winter lasts so long in the Midwest by the time it's Christmas I am absolutely over it. I don't mind the 50s, perfect outfit weather. Mmm... Since I feel slightly warmer than the average person in my household (but probably feel similar to the average person outside my house), I am kinda curious how to lower thyroid hormone sometimes... tho when hot, having a water bottle and carefully applying water acts faster.Opposite for me. Do they help me? As far as "normalizing" how I feel in cold temps, not so much, at least not that I've noticed.Do thyroid medications help?
I wonder if it could also be circulation issues or similar.Do they help me? As far as "normalizing" how I feel in cold temps, not so much, at least not that I've noticed.
Idk. I've been seen/checked out/tested by a doctor. I do have fairly extreme hypothyroidism, though.I wonder if it could also be circulation issues or similar.
hopefully you are able to feel comfortable, even if it takes extra jumpers or smthIdk. I've been seen/checked out/tested by a doctor. I do have fairly extreme hypothyroidism, though.

How old do I have to be for the sun to start feeling good on my bones.YES YES YES. I love this forum. I hate hot weather (mostly). I hate that people are expected to have fun. The sun stings my eyes and my skin. I hate people walking around looking stupid in ugly clothes. I hate the bugs flying around and having to mow the lawn that i don't even want. The reason I say "mostly" hate, is because, now that I'm older (thankfully death is inevitable) the warmth feels kind of good on my bones. I can mow the lawn and not feel hot, which is actually dangerous and is how old people die sometimes, they sit in their homes with the windows shut and feel fine until they pass out and die from the heat. If I lived alone I would try that.
I live on the west coast and wish our summers were shorter. I'm lucky that I live close enough to the beach that most days there is a cooling breeze in the afternoon but there are still time when it can get really hot even well into October.Agree, summer is gross. To hot and sweaty. I live in the Midwest, so thankfully summer isn't that long. I prefer Spring and Fall. Hoodies and the fire pit is great
The downside to short summers means shorter growing windows for gardening, which I enjoy. I can lounge in the hammock as long as it's not extremely hot outside, which this summer has been. Yuck. But on the other hand, I get cold urticaria if I'm outside to long in the winter on my faceI live on the west coast and wish our summers were shorter. Death by hypothermia is one of my preferred methods.I've always wanted to die in the snow but my last attempt didn't go so well. I tried to OD on Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen roughly 100 grams of it. I also wanted to bleed out because I knew OD'ing will be slow but that's the part I didnt go through it was hard to cut because Im not that good with pain. That day it was supposed to snow but dumb me didnt know the time it'll snow : [ So I had a hundred grams of OTC meds in my stomach and I couldn't cut myself... I had to call 911 in the end I spent 2 days in the hospital AND IT SNOWED WHILE I WAS ON THE HOPSITAL BED. I felt so unlucky it was a nice view but still If it was snowing I guess I wouldve had more motivation.
Now it's summer and I changed my plan to OD on fent but IT'S SUPER SUPER HOT LIKE REALLY HOT AND I HATE IT. I dont want to die in 80 degrees weather :<
I attempted to CTB this way about 8 months ago in the woods. Chickened out. Really regret that. I was so close to getting deep into the woods with no earthly way of finding my way out.Death by hypothermia is one of my preferred methods.
