Anyone else feel that leaving a note is humiliating?

The problem is not leaving a note would be weird since my parents would one day just never hear from me again. My mom texts me like twice a month to check in.
I don't think it's humiliating. If a person goes so far to commit to dying of their own hand, a communication to loved ones isn't much of a stride further. It's only a message. I got emotional writing mine, but not through embarrassment. It was just a bit of sadness, feeling sentimental.
I personally would never leave a note, mostly out of pride and spite. I can imagine all the ways it would be misinterpreted by people I hate. But I'm also a very private person and don't have any deep connections with people. So I'd rather let them draw their own conclusions. If they couldn't recognize my struggles after all these years then they don't deserve a note.

I would leave a note just for closure and say goodbye and so they don't feel any guilt but everyone is different, if we were all the same the World would be a boring place.
