  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I was obsessed with this site for almost a year during my first serious depressed episode. I recovered for a bit, then became manic and really messed up my life. It was fun while I did it though.
Just trying to connect with anyone else with the same condition.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this on. Please let me know.

I'm diagnosed with Bipolar 1, severe anxiety, Insomnia, and PTSD. Though I don't know if the PTSD is a correct diagnosis, unless something happened on early on in my life that I can't fully remember.

I was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 in August 2019 after some pretty crazy episodes. I don't know many people that have it in my circle so if you want a pal don't hesitate to message me! Best of luck with everything

Hi, I am also diagnosed with that, but I don't really buy into the diagnoses because I think everyone is unique and all 'symptoms' overlap... I just see diagnosis as a way to justify the way they prescribe medication but I don't think there's a lot of science to it. Basically, I just think that I had a few really unfortunate things happen in my life. Being hospitalised was the worst thing I have ever experienced. But according to the professionals, I have this and have had a few manic episodes, apart from those times I've been permanently depressed I guess.

Years ago I had undiagnosed bipolar 1. However, still I can't say for sure was it bipolar 1 or bipolar 2.
Because the cycles were not regular and I could be extremely manic or extremely depressive for a long time with no mania.
I had both manias and hypomanias, that was very easy to determine.
However, years later my illness magically transformed into schizoaffective depressive type where I have more of an affective disorder rather than schizo-.
But seems that manias disappeared forever.
