Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Jumping from a height is never garunteed, you could just break every bone and not die or just squirm on the floor In pain for ages waiting for death. I don't think it's a good way to do it.
It ll be painless. I had a bad accident a few years back, survived, but all I remember as the last thing happening is the world instantly going black. No pain, nothing. Just lights off. The pain only came afterwards when I was conscious and rushed to the hospital. I m pretty sure at that height you feel nothing. Just over 5 seconds of free fall, you ll hit the ground at over 200kmh... it ll just go black...
I don't know what it is like right now coming out of lockdown but ctb there is no problem. Patrols are sporadic and only the car driving up and down the road. In the day it can be very busy if the weather is good and lots of people take pix right on the edge and peak over and nobody questions it. There is no police (obviously) unless they are called if there is an incident. There are many walkers and nature enthusiasts but also plenty of teenagers and families just having a beautiful day out. I don't know why people keep spreading myths, I have been there many times so plan mt ctb, find best spot etc and just got to wait bow for lockdown to be lifted. It is mesmerising and beautiful and tbh doesn't even look that high, but then I am not afraid of heights. Wouldn't be suitable for someone who is.
Beachy Head has always been my option to fall back on. I'm guessing as we're coming out of lockdown the place will get very busy, unfortunately. Wonder what it will be like in the next month or so, and if it would be possible to get some time alone?

I was there last August and while it was very busy spring the day as soon as its early evening it calms down and by sunset barely anyone is around. September and October hardly anyone was there as weather not as warm anymore....

Does anyone have any recent pictures as to the state of the cliffs? I belive the lighthouse is the highest point. I was wondering if coastal erosion is a problem that is forming ledges and could cause someone to get caught up on and reduce the effectiveness of jumping from the cliff top near the light house.

Yes, they were dead. You hit the ground with over 180kmh on the low parts and 225kmh from the high parts. There is no rescue, its recovery. And the coastguards on top sent everyone away and said they already lost one life just now, they don't need to lose another.

Yes, they jumped off near Belle Tout actually, off the last ascend towards it. Still processing.... I saw the person earlier and now I wonder if I should have spoken to them. Don't get me wrong, I fully support everyone making their own choices and I know a lot of people, including me, are very determined and clear in their mind but there are also others who may not really want to die and maybe speaking to them would help them not to do it should it actually not be what they really want if that makes sense....

I'm seriously considering it, looked into travel etc.. I want to be dead I just don't know if I could go through with throwing myself off. I don't want to run up and end up hesitating last minute, get spotted by the chaplain people and end up in a psych ward with more problems than before. I won't go while I'm in the debating process, I know it's something I need to be sure I can do. but it is an option I'm working on
I have seen some storys but very rare I just don't know the current state of the cliffs at the moment. Im in a position to be able to do some investigation before hannd so that is an option.
Avoided main road - didn't take a taxi as I've heard they can report you
Not too many people about - pretend to be all smiles and happy to anyone I saw
Kept looking about to see if anyone was watching / following to talk me out of it
Some woman with a dog seemed to be… pretend to make a call and have a conversation - see you in the pub - views are amazing
She disappeared
Found my spot … checking a 'clean fall' no ledges
Want death not to wake up disabled
Nearly just did it there and then
But though I'll leave go have a beer in the Beachy Pub nearby and show some respect for those I'm leaving behind by writing a suicide note to have in my pocket when they found my body
One beer turned to 4… sunshine was there but so where my problems
Torn between do I don't I
Decided I would
Went back my spot and Police where talking someone down
One of Police seemed to have his eye on me… and was just going to run passed and do it right in front of them but wandered off pretending to read signs and take pictures
Found another spot out of their sight
Just about to go and phone starts ringing - it's my GF
Nearly just ignored it and went
Was already 2 hours late to be home
Picked up and nearly bullshitted I was on my way
But ended up telling her where I was
Not great
Problems still are here… and a horrible future ahead… but I felt too guilty to do it… she deserves better than me
If I'd been single I'd of done it
Though it's odd that every part of your 'caveman' brain kicks in trying to stop you
I think if the Police weren't already there Id of gone
Heard them telling her about those your leaving behind and so on

Get a good spot on Beachy, straight down, no bouncing of ledges to slow you down... pretty much a given you're done
Those five seconds of free fall will be hell 'omg what have I just done' but it won't even matter because on the other side is nothing - for us at least - all our problems are gone as we don't exist
Hardest bit is just going over
No matter how much you 'want' to do it, you're inner caveman wants to stop you... human brain and body still wants to live even if you don't - it's a battle against yourself to go over
Went yesterday
Came close
Only came back because my actions would cause problems and misery for those who love me
Problem is I love them but hate myself
Many say I'm the funny guy, life and soul of the party
That's a mask
Only being 'fun' to see others happy so then I feel better
I have issues
We all do
Or we wouldn't be here
Gx
