I opened my mail and they were giving me all kinds of bits of info that might be relevant lol! It was scary when this one lady was talking about my circumstances in an email. She seemed concerned. Ironically they dropped some hints about something I did and have not gotten a response about and I was like how did they know that? My neighbor might not be my friend I guess but I thought she was. Something weird has happened lately with her like mixed signals and I thought maybe it was nothing. Now I'll be paying closer attention. This neighbor of mine seems to have a lot of sway around here. I hate where I live and my situation of why I'm living here. Rents are so high here and housing is hard to get unless u have a legit job and decent credit probably. So I've just stayed in this dumpy apt complex. I'm so suicidal right now. Just thinking about everything and really wanting my nightmare to end. I think about rehoming the kitten first so when I go u know he's not having to witness me dying and crying here freaking out. Who knows when I would be found.

I used to get/read tarot readings for myself, back when I was still into spirituality. Now I don't anymore since I really dislike having false hope for the future or in anything else.

One of my friends totally believed in it (I never have), one of my other friends and I thought we'd mess with her so to speak, because for some reason whenever she did a reading on me, no matter how the deck was cut, shuffled or anything, the death card always came up--and it always freaked the other friend out.
We're talking we just did random things where I just pulled a random card, and got that 8/10 times basically. When the friend did an actual reading, the end result was the same card lol.
Just to mess with the other friend--since the death didn't mean death entirely depending, but it was just funny, but the other friend would just be freaked out over it.
Although the friend who did it at the end said after she did a real reading once, that she wouldn't do another one on me ever again--because despite the funny/freakish things of that, it actually freaked her out too, because it wasn't normal.

I think people can sometimes misconstrue what the Tarot is about. It's just another way of trying to find insight, another way of looking at things, similar to any religion or philosophy. It's mythos is rooted in the arcane but all magic is, is a different way of looking at things couched in a symbolic language. A talented reader will read the person as much as the cards, the cards are merely the tool with which they do that.

If you find a good and naturally gifted psychic then its all worth it. Trouble is there are so many charlatans out there now which is so sad as ruins it for genuine ones.
Right how can I decipher? One lady seems legit bc she tells what's going on with me in a couple emails. She's accurate but still.
Used to get at least one a week for about 10 years from different readers. When you are are bored on a Sunday afternoon they are a pleasant way to spend the time.

As a practice like meditation, however, I found it to be very relaxing when I did my own readings. When others have read for me, it was more about the connection/conversation that actually gleaming any information that would be useful (or accurate) for the future.

I got one when I became involved with this guy. "His heart isn't into it" but "he sees you as the six of cups" (abudance, beauty). Also "fantasies, deception". And he told me pretty much this.
When i first began planning CTB I watched a "pick a pile" on youtube. All cards of activity, movement, leaving, departing, including one that said, "ready to leave".
I asked if the guy would ever message back and I got the page of swords, which many people associate with social media. He messaged within the hour.
I like the stories within the cards. i.e. the Court cards - in the Rider Waite, to me he Queen of Cups always looks disgusted with the cup she's holding, which amuses me. Some artwork in these decks is tacky but at times it's extraordinary. I like what it does to my imagination

My theory is that while things were going well for me in the early years it was easy and obvious for tarot readers to say "I foresee a big bonus coming at work for you and people love you around". I mean, who doesn't want to hear that. Under those circumstances when it inevitably comes true it seems that those readers are golden.
Just wait for a few years when things are falling apart and they are telling you the same stuff.....

I've always been interested in tarot reading as it's something that has been fun for me. I do browse YouTube videos that contain free readings, but ya know, none of them are going to be like, "Girl, you're going to die in 4 days." Most of them have been really positive, saying I'll have a successful future, how I'll marry my twin flame, and I'm destined to be a mother due to how nurturing and loving I am... Okay, lol.

I asked a few readers this exact same question and according to them the death card doesn't actually represent death. I have had readings by 2 psychics who are probably still probably still being shown amongst the top 10 in the world in a Google search, they never predicted anything bad happening. The tarot is really a fun pastime.

It depends on where the death card shows up in the reading, the cards on either side, and whether astrology and the iching are brought into the reading A good tarot reading only comes when the reader is not looking/facing the person who wants the reading done, asks no questions of the recipient and is accurate throughout the reading. If these criteria are not met, then the subconscious rarely has anything to do with the reading. Tarot is similar to I ching it simply clarifies what the body already knows. But it will tell you if someone is going to die.
Sorry I did not see the area to expand your comments. It is not that unusual to have a single card show up in the same place over and over again. It depends in part, on how new the cards are, and how well kept. If you know what tarot deck was used and which of the many layouts were used I could probably answer your question as to what it meant. Most people who read tarot have their own layout. I almost always used an astrological means of reading. I like math...I did not however like to know what is going to happen to someone in the future. I don't believe in witches, gods, ghosts, or the so-called supernatural. All things are possible , but knowing them before they happen. No I don't like that.
You have never an honest reader. Most people will not tell you if something bad is going to happen. I would tell them if I had a solution for bandruptcy, death, divorce. Otherwise it was just too hard. I no longer do that, the I ching or astrology. You just should not know...you just should not.
If they ask you questions before the reading then they are interpreting you not the cards. That is not a tarot reading but a counsellor you have met who is doing an assessment.
