I have not tried it but I have read a lot of posts on here. If you do it right it is not painful at all and you lose consciousness in 5-15 seconds. For some people it is easy to find the sweet spot on the neck to pass out fast, others can never manage to do it. There are A LOT more attempts than success stories though, a lot of people here have 10+ failed attempts due to SI. It is almost impossible to suppress the SI

It's not really that painful tbh, as long as you find the 'sweet spot' you will lose consciousness fairly quickly. There are many variables which can lengthen the time, like using a different knot mentioned in the guide or not leaning forward hard enough. In my case, the SI wasn't really present.
It all really depends on how badly you want to die.

I've tried it as a method before and failed after si kicked in for me. My experience with it has not been well.Similar threads
