does anyone know if it would work to use cyproheptadine which is an antihistamine in place of an antiemetic like meto for SN method? or maybe it wouldn't be a great substitute but it might be better than nothing?

No, it just won't be effective. Meto and drugs like it work in a very specific way. They block dopamine, which is what you need in this case.

Meto is special because it also helps empty your stomach, which means you'll absorb the SN quicker. A lot of people forget that part, and it's an important benefit.

Anyway, you need the type of antiemetic that works on dopamine receptors or one of a few specific antipsychotics. There's just no getting around it.

There's no guarantee you'll fail, but you have the best chance of success if you take one. There are others besides Meto. Can you use one of them? Or stop taking that med?

Have you looked into Meclizine? (Dramamine non-drowsy) it's OTC and one of our members used it during their ctb. The thing is, there have been people that have taken Meto and still vomited, but still pass. People have taken SN without antiemetics and have passed as well. So to answer your question, while this method isn't ideal and you may experience discomfort, you will more than likely not survive even if you vomited. To be on the safe side I'd suggest making another serving of SN and keeping it near you just in case you do vomit. Many people have been preparing extra servings to make sure there is no return. Stan, who provided us with a lovely SN guide made multiple servings to make sure he was successful... Even if you do vomit and decide to ingest another serving of SN you probably won't make it out alive without seeking medical attention. By then your body would have absorbed enough of it to be lethal.

In case you haven't checked out the guide, here it is:
