I'm suffering from mental illness and I'm homeless. Any ideas on antifreeze poisoning.

NO. You'll just get sick and cause damage to yourself, but the likelihood is that you won't die, but will have to live with the consequences.

I have a clock 40 but I'm afraid it won't kill me
I was reading about sodium nitrate. Is that a suicide method and if so is it painful

Please don't try with antifreeze. It will hurt like hell and likely not work. Have a look at the resource compilation instead.

That was the method I tried in 2008. Swallowed 2 cups. Immediately chickened out and puked it all back up. I'm glad I didn't go through with it. It would have been a slow and agonizing death. I'm looking for something more instant this time around.

it's sodium NITRITE, not nitrate. Be careful. Apparently it is painless but I'm not recommending anything since it goes against the rules, but you might investigate on the resource compilation someone posted above me.
