Stan's guide suggests using a histamine H₂ receptor acid reducer such as Tagamet before taking SN. The guide also adds that proton-pump inhibitors are not useful in aiding SN death. My problem is that none of the pharmacies where I live sell histamine H₂ receptor acid reducers, they only sell proton-pump inhibitors. Aside from that they do sell products such as Rennie, Gaviscon, and Milk of Magnesia. Is it worth using these antacids before SN or would they be ineffective.

I think the guide mentions Milk of Magnesia as one of the options for an antacid.
