• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Perhaps a lesser discussed reason. Hanging seems to me to be the only method where I can "practice" and get used to the feeling so that my SI will be lower for the Big Day. Obviously I can't practice full suspension easily, but what I've been doing is practicing partial by holding the other end of the rope (not tying it off) to the point where I'm on the verge of passing out. Doing this, I've noticed that the feeling of the rope cinching around my neck has become less painful over time. I've also gotten really good at hitting the carotids almost every time, which has gotten me used to that tingly/spinny feeling that will happen to me when I fully suspend myself. I also admit that doing these practice runs with partial has kind of become a not-terrible form of self-harm.

To my knowledge, no other method out there allows you to "practice" safely (I say that acknowledging that something could go wrong even while practicing partial hanging).

A bit off topic, but I like your username, a mix of CTB and CPTSD
