Ill check out ishura it's a Disney exclusive isn't itI recommend Frieren.
Also Ishura is one of the greatest anime out there, please watch.
Idk why I haven't mentioned this but you'd like 20th Century Boys if you haven't already read it.On this note i dont think these will ever get anime adaptions so ill mention fire punch and fugitive boys as manga recs :)
Welcome to the NHK and Look Back made me bawl
My all time favourite animated film is Mind Game by masaaki yuasa. OP ur a real one for picking anohter yuasa work.
Mind Game covers the human experience so well. Its about finding meaning and value in life and pushing ahead, Its a hopeful movie but doesn't shy away from the challenges and absurdity of life, the characters all have hopes and dreams, they are also all flawed and the film shows that they can learn and become better. I cant help but feel motivated to keep going after watching it, I always find time for it when I'm at low points.
Its also beautifully animated, i animate traditionally and hope to nurture 1/10th of the talent on display in that movie lol. Its a huge inspiration to me stylistically as well.
My other all time anime i like is Tekkonkinkreet, Ping-Pong, The night is short Walk on Girl Devilman, Eva, Lain, Texhnolyze, Haibane Renmei, afro samurai, jin-roh, redline, animatrix, tokyo godfathers.
I love anything psychological, psychadelic or spooky. if anyone has recomendations pls i need new good shows omg
I fucking love this movie! I want the dvd for this and specifically Genius Party and, girl devil man was good! Not many people mention that one ever really, the Animatrix is another unique one of a kind films in my opinion just like mind game and my all time favorite Kemonzune I think if you liked mind games animation you might not mind Kemonozume unique and kinda psychedelic like mind game
.
Why didn't the 2 Queens ever come out,

I seen this YouTube video a few years ago and never looked into why it didn't end up getting animated, but what most teams have trouble with apparently, it was impossible to find partners to finance the full production aghhhh
Correction devil ladykemonozume is great, I also recently started kaiba. is2g everything yuasa touches is gold. I'll def check out girl-devil man when I finish kaiba
I wish I were like Bocchi: Extremely shy, but genuinely kind, pleasant, skillful, hard working and she tries her best to fit in (the bin).bocchi the rock (she is literally me fr)
I'm so glad you recommended Chi No Wadachi. This one triggers my childhood trauma BAD.Interesting I'll have to read it, perhaps you'd like blood on the tracks if you haven't read it already

Seichi Osabe is a young boy living in a rural Japanese town. He lives a normal life — friends at school, a Precocious Crush, and a loving mother and father that care for him. In particular, he has a very strong relationship with his mother Seiko, who dotes on him excessively and is very overprotective.

This was awesome fuck man ! I just thought everyone in the anime fan world have been hearing about the hype of this series!! Thank you for adding general plotI decided to start a 6-part ONA because I noticed it had become pretty popular pretty quickly this year when it released, and I liked the art style and character designs that I saw from the promo art; I thought the octopus looked especially cute~ Though, I had no idea that I would relate to this anime so much when I first started it. It's called Takopii no Genzai (Takopi's Original Sin).![]()
A squid-like creature, known as a Happian, leaves his home planet with the desire to spread happiness across the universe. He lands on Earth, but quickly finds himself in danger of captivity by its inhabitants. Fortunately, he is found by an unsmiling little girl named Shizuka Kuze, who feeds him and names him Takopii. Feeling indebted, Takopii decides to do everything in his power to bring a smile to her face.
I highly, highly recommend this one.
