I never wanted it to end like that. And I know that no amount of begging or pleading will fix it. Neither will apologizing. But I can't leave this unsaid.
I'm sorry for forcing you through all of that. I'm sorry for trying to get you to stay when I knew you didn't want to. I knew this was going to end, but I kept trying to prolong it by promising I could change something. I knew what would happen if I made you stay when I couldn't change anything, and yet I still kept you here.
I'm sorry for hurting you. I know saying sorry doesn't fix things, but I want you to know that I am truly sorry for what I've done.
