• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm so disappointed. My doctor referred me to the mental health team in august and had the appointment today. I didn't know what to expect so I didn't go in with expectations. The appointment lasted 20 minutes. The lady was very kind and made me feel comfortable which was nice. She asked questions about my home life etc. she brought my mum in the room and asked her if she had any concerns or anything to add she said no. Autism was brought up again. I do probably have autism but I honestly feel like it's not just autism but no one's listening or seeing it.
Apparently I'm going to receive a letter or something with techniques I can do whilst I wait for whatever happens next. I can't remember the words said but eventually I'll be doing something I guess a type of therapy to help 'regulate my emotions' and to 'help manage my suicidal thoughts'. I don't know I just feel disappointed and let down. Maybe it will help but I feel like no one is ever going to take me seriously. I once again feel like I need to be sicker and/or do something big to be listened to.

MH services don't listen, that's for sure.

If you have an Advocacy service you could go to, an Advocacy worker would be able to go to these meetings and make sure you're heard. Doctors walk all over us because they're the professionals and we're not.
