death: the cure for life

Life on this planet will always rebound in some way. While we and other species might die off, others will always fill the gap.Humans are not a great thing for the planet. I can see how the end of humanity would be beneficial. If allowed to spread this virus would carry to animals as well. I think life on this planet is waning anyway.
tbh, I sort of hope I will catch it. Any tips?
Noone really should wish for others to die, its not good or nice. I have recently lost my beloved father, the only person left who loved or cared about me in the world. if you knew the devastation that death leaves people with, maybe you'd not think along these lines. Why would you want innocent people to die? I dislike being in the world greatly ad have been hurt over the years by some very cruel people, but never wish death on any of them.
You know how much I agree with that Well said the love and caring those before us gave, I don't think would ever want anyone to die simply because iv failed, it's a stupid thing to wish as its impossible, I just can't help but think of the horrible events where people take other lives in their exit, deffo just plain wrong, no need to spout hatred, there's a lot of shit in humanity but so much good.Noone really should wish for others to die, its not good or nice. No cruel people aren't innocent, but the people who hurt me badly had their own crap going on deep within them I suppose and then its a chain that never gets broken. What they did to me was not justified no, but I dont know what went on in their past t make them like it, nothing is black and white. You are right they seldom get a taste of their medicine and I do feel that they should suffer, but end of the day Ghandi was right about 'an eye for an eye ends up making the whole world blind'. In theory folks should have their commupence, but in practice its different.Well, I wouldn't consider cruel people innocent tbh. Wouldn't mind them getting some of their own medicine from time to time, because in my experience they seldom do.
You may find CTB be less horrid to go through that getting a nasty virus like that. It would be no joke. We are talking virulent symptoms and excruciating pain, dont wish that on yourself, ever. I suffer agony ever day with my physical health and today got job to even get off the bed to go to bathroom even so it upsets me when folks talk about wishing to be ill.I hope I get infected by the coronavirus so I won't have to ctb.
People who have hurt you perfectly reasonable not wishing death on innocent strangers, it's a horrible thing to watch someone sick fade away in front of you!! besides it's a pointless discussion as it's just unrealistic, nobody should want INNOCENT people to die because they got dealt a shit hand** leaves convoWell, I wouldn't consider cruel people innocent tbh. If you were someone who couldn't have children (choice ripped away like I have) you might actually stop and think how ludicrously cruel and insensitive that is.How about giving all humans a virus which makes them unable to have children.
You seen the show Utopia? Best piece of TV I've ever seen, based on this principle. How about giving all humans a virus which makes them unable to have children.
No but it sounds interesting. Maybe I will check it out.You seen the show Utopia? Best piece of TV I've ever seen, based on this principle.
Genuinely couldn't recommend a show any more to anyone. Please do let me know if you check it out.No but it sounds interesting. Maybe I will check it out.
The anti-natalist/infertility virus. But on a slightly more serious note, I think it may be better for the planet and also for preventing future 'potential' suffering. After all, the conceived never got a say or choice in deciding to be born. How about giving all humans a virus which makes them unable to have children.
I had the flu about 4 years ago. I didn't have a flu shot. I grew up in a family that did not do flu shots, but I certainly do them now. I am not going to bother Getting into whether they are worth doing or not because it is a heated discussion for people. Regardless I became sicker than I have ever been in my life. I had every symptom there could be of the flu virus in full force. I almost died of respiratory failure several times. I can tell you becoming very ill or near death from a viral illness or even worse a bacterial illness is a very uncomfortable way to go.
I can understand not wanting to live or even envying the dead or dying, but if one really wants to CTB there are so many better ways.
Had the same experience in 2014/15. Wasn't near death, but it certainly harmed my eyesight and for some reason my face keeps heating up around the eyes and nose ever since. Got used to it, and it's a little better now. Dunno about you or the others, but a lot of us probably lead reclusive lifestyles and vitamin D supplements can be really helpful in this regard.
