• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

(Slight NSFW warning- mention on genitalia)

I'm a nineteen year old trans male.

I feel like this life is fucking useless. In the eyes of most people I'll never be a man. I have facial hair, top surgery, I take hormones, I present masculine but I'll never be a "real" man to most people.

Showers are a living hell, I look down and see my scars and my bottom growth and I feel like an imposter. I'll never be a man, I'll always just be a *trans* male.

Sorry you're feeling like this.

The person who was abusive and homophobic towards me last year is back with their ex and therefore in my neighbourhood again.

I can't get past the homophobia and don't want to live in a world where people get away with hate crime.

The same people who don't view you as a "real" man are the same people who view cis people who don't fit the narrow view of gender that they have as being "real" men or women. In a lot of cases, they themselves have trouble with fully viewing themselves as a "real" man or woman because most people are unable to fit perfectly in with societal gender expectations, both in looks and in personality.

I'm a cis woman and I don't feel like a "real" woman sometimes. Sometimes I get caught up in things, like the few strands of thick dark hair that sometimes grows on different parts of my body because of my pcos or my figure. There are a lot of times where I question if those around me view me as a woman. I know that my experiences may differ from yours due to me also being cis and not having to deal with transphobia, but my point is that it's fine to feel like an imposter sometimes because everyone goes through that.

You are about as much of a real man as any cis man out there, and that includes in your insecurities towards being seen as a real man, too. You are as much of a real man as the next guy, because you can't define manhood (or womanhood) by your genitals or chromosomes. You are a man because, deep down inside, you see yourself as one and that's what matters the most.

People are so weird. While they enjoy watching a ruthless killer killing hundreds of people in a movie like John Wick, they are disturbed by seeing people with different sexual orientations kissing on Netflix. John Wick and the like are more pornographic than any video on Xhamster.

The world would be a much better place if people weren't so hateful and would let others live in peace.

Discriminating against people for personal choices that affect no one is just ridiculous.

You're either male or you're not.
Who gets to decide who's a "real" man anyway?
Are you saying that the OP is not a man? As if so, please remove your transphobic comments from this thread, if not the site. The LGBTQI+ community faces enough crap in daily life without dealing with it on a thread created to record misery and despair at the refusal to recognise trans people for who they are.
