I guess it's possible, but rare as you said. I'm going to guess the only pain you would probably feel is the needle prick.

I've researched this a bit out of curiosity of the subject and for my own purpose of ctb, and I've learned it hurts a lot. The needle prick is the least amount of pain you will feel. I read it will feel like you are having a heart attack or something similar with a burning sensation and the air disrupts.. something(can't remember).Similar threads
