• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'd like to know how everyone is doing today after the checks yesterday? What was your experience?

They haven't been back since yesterday but I feel like they'll return.

I plan to keep insisting that I didn't receive my sn even if they're certain I have it. It's not illegal to have. So they shouldn't treat me like a criminal. I suppose the best they can do is section me if they believe I'm a danger to myself.

Honestly, I'm not sure what they can and can't do. I just don't plan on giving up my sn. Having it makes me feel calmer. Can they tear up your house for it?

If the delivery was months ago you could be doing better and they shouldn't really have grounds to section you, especially if you don't have a history. They could tear up the place. You said they took something thinking it was sn? It would probably take them ages to test it, if they even bother.
i have a history. but some time has passed since i ordered it. i'm hoping you're right about that:)

they didn't end up taking it in the end they realised it was just a hair product.

I'm avoiding this site as much as possible for now, including DMs but wanted to update here for others.

I'm still fuming, this has sent me to a spiral, I've stopped taking my anti-depressants and I'm back to constantly thinking about suicide again. Having the SN gave me the peace of mind to take it day by day.

I've reordered SN again and I've already had a weird message from Royal Mail 😬 I'm not going to put what it says but I've never had a message like this before and maybe I'll understand it later.

Other than that, fuck the government and fuck the police 🫡

There is a separate summary offence for individuals in the act.
oh interesting. they're obliged to say if they're investigating you in a criminal sense then no?

I told them I got rid of it and now I'm spiralling over whether I just committed the offence of wasting police time and whether I'm going to face legal repercussions for doing that or, if not, have it hanging over my head for the rest of my life because I don't know whether there's a statute of limitations on it

I can't even discuss this with my therapist because then it's definitely his duty of care to breach confidentiality

I hope it's just OCD

if you do not cooperate with them, can they not just send you to a psyche ward for evaluation, which may or may not turn into something much more negative for you. even if they cannot legally take it from you, i assume that they would surely be able to convince you to hand it over or suffer the consequences of standing your ground

i sympathise with your situation, and would not want to give it up myself, but hopefully you make the right choice either way. hopefully you get to keep it without receiving any grief from the cops
