Would really appreciate reading everyone's thoughts on this
I'll likely ctb by hanging
Problem is i don't have a secure anchor point for me it's not like "oh i know this one tree in the woods a mile away from my home that fits my height and can hold my weight" no
i will have to scout and hang myself the same day i can't really scout beforehand cause i have limited time alone and outside in the week and i would have to cross some pretty sketchy neighborhoods so i've been pretty much guiding myself almost completely from google earth/maps + my knowledge and memory of the place which isn't very good
i have some backup locations in case i don't see an entrance to the forest (technically mountain) but idk it just feels so precaurious
also i have some insecurities like the steep land + what if i don't find a good tree? i think the probability is absurd almost 0 but idk it bothers me a lot but i do have some backup locations just in case
the only anchor point that may work in my home is a beam on the porch but it bothers me since it isn't that big and my house it's very crowded and people go and come all the time so i wouldn't be able to do it even at night only thing i can hope is for my family to be away for a short time and even then it's still very risky since there's always at least one person besides me here
My two other options are sn and gun
found an sn source that ships to my country but it's currently out of stock but i'm confident they will re-stock soon and anyways i need to double my current budget to prepare for extra costs + taxes + and backup method but i'm confident it will get through customs without too much trouble/certifications because of the lax laws in my country
problem is i can't ship it directly to my neighborhood because it's closed and i'm not always home since i'm studying now
the only viable option would be to request a fedex hold at location but idk if this would be accepted and feel like they may deny my order or force me to choose a different address
thought about renting a pobox but it's a little messy where i am since most just do international shipping (they bring packages from another country not local ones) and specially since i only need a temporary address also don't think a lot accept chemicals
and about guns my country has very strict gun laws think bluest states in the us which is ironic because this place is riddled with gun crime and black market trafficking
my grandma owns some guns (a revolver and a shotgun) but i only visit her on holidays and the guns are likely locked or in some warehouse now also in case i find them if they're out of ammo i won't be able to do anything and don't really how to locate black markets here and would really prefer to avoid getting in trouble
i feel like the sn & firearms are like miracles methods very unlikely i will get my hands on them and if i can't go with them i will always fall off back to hanging in the mountain it's like i can't escape it also they'll require me to wait even longer which is distressing me a lot in my current conditions
