in states alone its 30000 pepole ctb a year?
i dont know if its ok to talkback a link or google disappear search resaults but it should be more pepole

I guess what he wanted to say is there are many ctb 's everywhere and why are only few people on this website and this website need to be advertised properly so that people will know about it.

On a serious note, I would prefer less people knowing about this forum and I wish Google erase the searches a bit more so it's not so obvious. We wouldn't want this forum being reported or removed :(

although i do share your sentiment about the risk of the forum being removed. i think this site should still be searchable on google. otherwise suicidal individuals like us wont have a refuge where they can communicate with like minded people like members on this forum. Also ive read too many stories from other sites where people use reckless suicide methods leading them to fail and end up worst in worse condition than they were before attempting to ctb. this site provides info on proper ways to ctb depending on the method. for example, i wouldnt have known about N or SN had i not done research on SS. i think others should be privy to the same info.

I had the exact same thought as I was typing my first reply, I wanted to add it to my response. I'm so glad that I found this forum after researching about hanging. It's so sad when people have failed attempts, I don't want that to happen to anyone.

It's too popular as it is for everyone who needs to be here to get heard and for it not to attract people that shouldn't be here. That's not to say people should kill themselves just that it's better for the ones who are here if it remains a smaller community imo. I wouldn't want it to turn into reddit where people just sign up if they spilt their drink

Agreed. Hiding this site from anybody goes against the spirit of pro-choice and giving agency back into the hands of the individual. Even if it comes with the occasional nonsensical post or trolling attempt, every person that finds something they need here is vastly more important.

I found the site because I was researching a method on lostallhope. Before that, I saw Reddit and quora posts, but any idiot can posts on those forums and many do, so I stay away from them. It never crossed my mind to look for a suicide forum. I think a lot of people who ctb either already have the method (firearm, rope) or know of someone who ctb'd and try that method.

I don't want f*cking police curious about my CtB method and why I chose that product to successfully CtB!

Hint: It's quite popular here, but unheard of CtB method in my hometown area and at the time of this writing.
