First off, if, let's say, around 625,978 people in the US got an abortion in 2021, then that means that about 6260 people got an abortion due to rape, which is still a lot of people. Along with that, there is also the fact that you can't take those statistics at face value. A lot of people who are victims of rape and incest aren't going to necessarily want to open up about that and it can take sometimes upwards of years for victims to even get to a point where they are even able to acknowledge and accept the fact that they were raped and/or are a victim of incest.

Secondly, where did you even get the shit on immigrants from? My bullshit detectors are tingling.

Commentators focused on the letter's claim that ICE did not detain 13,099 migrants convicted of homicide, but they tended to misunderstand the data.

The migrant criminal convictions from this statistic actually go back 40 years, not 4 years.

It doesn't matter whether it was a result of rape. Women are entitled to make decisions about their bodies and should not be forced a pregnancy they don't want.

If you're against abortion as a woman: simple, don't get one, but don't try to decide what other women do with their bodies. If you're against abortion as a man: simple, don't have sex with women without firmly discussing this topic beforehand and making sure they match your views, and do your part to make sure no unwanted pregnancies occur (vasectomies, condoms etc).. or I guess as an alternative birth control method, you could just be a massive asshole that no woman wants to sleep with, and that works too…. But don't try to decide what other people do with their bodies. Basically, mind your business and worry about your own body and leave everyone else alone.

You're hypocritical in that regard since you're doing that by murdering an innocent baby.

A "baby" has the same right to life as everyone else…. Which is the right to live as long as you're not taking from someone else's body without their consent.

If you need a blood transfusion or an organ transplant to survive, no one is required to donate. You can't even harvest organs from dead bodies to save lives without consent. If no one consents to donate, you would die.

Same applies to pregnancy. If a woman does not want to allow a fetus to live off her as basically a parasite for months, she doesn't have to.

Nice bait. I didn't say they're roaming the streets, I actually said of the 400k that were detained by ICE 13k were murderers and another 19k had committed sexual assault from their previous country of origin.

I'd prefer for a fetus that isn't wanted to get aborted instead of forcing a woman to carry out a pregnancy for 9 months, then go through the trauma of having to give birth to a baby she doesn't want, and then having the baby either be forced to be put up for adoption (where they could potentially get adopted into an abusive household) or be forced to live with their bio mother, someone who likely will have trouble forming attachment. Also, The point of my comment was to point out the fact that one percent is still a lot of people who are in need of abortions being legal. Along with that, again, you are taking statistics at face value. Underreporting is something that is important to take note of in this case.

Also, did you even fucking read the story you linked? It even states the same shit I said about your supposed statistic. They also were no detained by ICE. Most of them were being held in federal or state prison.
