i'm a new user so i have no idea how this site works lol.

i have a plan to travel to a different city and jump off a cliff. i have a question surrounding this method:
is 65 meters (~210 feet) enough to fall from and die?
i know there are a lot of better ways to kill myself but i just think this is the best choice i have right now.

any answers will be appreciated. :)

Yes it is. Is it ground or water at the bottom?

From what I've read, jumping from 210 feet would most likely cause death.
If its actually land, or water, the velocity of your fall would be fatal.
The question would arise, is, do you want to fall that far thinking of your decision?

I want to add a search response, which anyone can look up.
"While there have been rare instances of survival from falls of this height, they are typically associated with specific circumstances, such as landing in water and entering feet-first."

Water, i'm pretty sure i'd fall into a shallow river.

well, if what you're asking is "are you sure about this method/do i want to do this", then yes, i am almost completely sure about this method.
thank you for the response, i highly appreciate it. i'll try to not jump in feet-first :)

I personally wouldn't prefer this method. Maybe because I have a fear of heights?
I wouldn't want to think as I'm falling to certain non-existence.
I really hope you choose not to. But I respect your choice. And I hope you find the peace you want.

Jumping is high on my radar too. There are 2 very high cliffs near me. Just the nearer is harder to access as it is in a manned park. But it is quite high and steep with a rocky and bushy bottom, no chance of survival nor being found, the body would probably rot all alone down there.

Why am I such a coward? 😕

It's alright, you're not a coward. Death is a very scary thing, even if you're suicidal.
The cliff i'm planning to fall from also has a pretty rocky and bushy bottom and i'm afraid that i will survive and look like a complete idiot + will become paralyzed or something. I hope you find a method that suits you best, good luck.

Oh, I thought yours has a river bottom. My fear is just the excruciating agony I might be in during the moments or hours to death. But chances of survival are zero. There must be skeletons down there.

No girl, I don't got other methods except full hanging or train. Partial has failed a couple of tries, and train is horrific to ponder. You could say the present motivation for work and anything is the search for peaceful CTB.

O Lord is death scary! 💀 💀 🎥

Well, yes. It does have a river at the bottom. But what i'm scared of is not landing towards the river but landing somewhere on the rocks and surviving. IMG 4403 View attachment IMG_4402.webpthis is area i'm pretty sure i'd fall from. It's stupid but it's the best choice i have right now.

Looks like a beautiful place to CTB. I hope there are no wild animals.
i don't think so, but there might be some tourists so that kinda sucks.. i should probably plan ahead to do it in late autumn or early spring so that there's noone else around.
