That's how I see it.
And I prefer to ctb than to live in poverty, with no gf and stuck in my lame country instead of living in the USA.

Oh for sure, as much as it can be difficult to watch because it involves putting your own suffering into some sort of perspective or trying to quantify it in some way, but the yale university course on suicide with the graphs he draws showing where and when might be reasonable moments to consider ending your life, is pretty good if you're struggling to come to terms with whether you're making the right decision based on your circumstances.

Of course! Sorry. I think it's in one of the pinned megathreads but let me find the specific video since it's a very long course.

He starts drawing the graph towards the end of this video and goes more in depth at the start of the second video:

Ok, thanks for sharing.
I'm intrigued.
Do you recommend watching the whole course?( assuming you've watched it).

I actually would love to watch the whole thing but I've only watched these two, it definitely seemed worth it to at least sit through these whole videos and the way he talks about suicide as if it's not strictly taboo is oddly soothing in itself. If you have the time and patience I'd definitely recommend it. :)

I actually flaws with his reasoning, many assumptions he makes without proof etc

That's understandable, I definitely had my own opinions while I was watching it too, but consuming other peoples opinions an assimilating the parts you agree with is one good way to grow your understanding of something I think.

It is.
But unfortunately for all of us we are already here.
So now we need to decide whether we want to keep living our lives or put an end to them.
