For me:
1. Cure all people who are sick and disabled that wish to be cured.
2. World peace.

I'd just wish to erase this torturous, dreadful existence, that is all I want, I'd never wish to suffer in this horrific, dreadful reality and I wish I never suffered more than anything in this evil existence and existence is just so evil.

All does is cause endless amounts of torture and agony with existing beings tortured every second, there is only suffering in existing and all I want is to never exist again, for me all that's positive is no longer being burdened with this torturous existence. This existence was always an mistake that just causes harm, suffering and torture, I just want to erase this existence, only in non-existence will I be at peace from the abomination of existence, the existence of life is the most terrible tragedy to me and I find it horrific how humans impose this existence causing all this terrible pain, cruelty and suffering as a result.

The reason I signed up for this site is that I fear that AI might take so many jobs (including my own) that our society will turn into some Black Mirror episode. I wanted to research hwo to ctb in case this happens. So my first wish would be enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life and not have to worry about working. I'd have to ask why the genie is worried about engineering challenges or labor costs... If you wish for money does the Genie have to create an industry to generate the money? What the hell good is magic if you can't magic anything? A bridge to Hawaii made out of magic should be the easiest request a Genie would have to fulfill.

I've heard a better version of that joke where the genie was asked to create peace in the middle east... says it is too complicated... then is asked the same about understanding women... and the genie grants the middle east peace.

That version of the joke works better in that both are intangible things and you could reason that the "women" is more difficult because of funny... The engineering one just kind of... falls apart... so to speak... for me :)
