I've been watching a show called American Greed which highlights various cases of fraud and people who run Ponzi schemes and such.
I'm currently watching an episode about a guy who got caught running a Ponzi scheme & took five times the lethal dose of a drug cocktail and died.

My question is, how did he keep all those drugs in his system?! How did he keep from vomiting them all up?!

Of course, they never tell you in the story on TV how the person did that. It's very frustrating to me because. . . Yes, these people are wealthy and they have access to drugs and such that the rest of us probably don't have, but they are still just human.
Do they have some secret antiemetic that is only available to wealthy people or celebrities that the rest of us don't know about? How are these people keeping all of these drugs in their systems long enough for them to pass away?

I've attempted to OD so many times that I can't even count. Every time I have either not taken a lethal dose, or I have vomited up some of the drugs. This happened in one case even though I took Zofran with it.
I just don't understand how they can keep the pills down, but I can't seem to.

Does anyone here have any thoughts or ideas about that?

Could just be lying on their backs and choking to death, really depends what drugs and how fast they act.

Your body cannot puke out everything.

It's frustrating because they make it look so easy on TV and in the movies.

you hold a gun to your temple and pull the trigger and you're instantly dead.
You swallow a handful of pills and you're instantly dead.
You tie a rope around your neck and you're instantly dead.

I think that's why people have this misconception that ctb is easy. They make it look so easy on TV & the movies.
But in reality it's very difficult to do. I just wonder how these people do it?

Hmmm overdosing huh? Yeah you better be prepared for the consequences. For instance, if you fail like I once did you may wake up from a 2 to 4 day comma and end up chain to a bed. Or never wake up at all the same as you once were. You will suffer many horrible side effects for the rest of your life. Not to mention, the actions the people around you might take. However, you may actually kill yourself and take your own life. While after that all your pain will go away but if you don't can you handle that? I mean we will all die one day except some people like us want to decide when that day will be. But it is your life just make sure your don't die horribly. I honestly believe we all just want to die in peace. So no one can really judge you or your decisions in the end. But make sure you pick the right method.
Part of my point is it seems to be pure luck when people die of overdoses. I've ODd both impulsively and having planned it out for months in advance, and in neither case did I die. I just feel like these people know some secret that I don't know, but they probably don't. They probably just got lucky and succeeded, as where I didn't get lucky so I didn't succeed.
Plus, this particular guy was facing probably a lifetime in prison, so he was clearly very desperate. But still, lots of people are desperate and try to OD, but they still don't die.
