Just wondering, what would happen if i jump from a 10th floor balcony and land into a swimming pool?
Too bad my place has a lot of swimming pools in it ://

I heard from some people that the guy in anime (A Silent Voice) who fell to a river (from a high balcony), practically shouldn't have lived with some injuries, regardless of just falling into the water.

Jumping is surprisingly faulty. There are a few videos of jumpers landing on pedestrians, obviously killing them on impact. There's this one of a jumper landing on a stroller. There's another of a jumper landing on a small cement pillar, (like for keeping cars from the sidewalk?) impaling himself, which absorbed most of the force of the impact, so he died the excrutiating death of impaling, instead of the intant death of jumping. Rough enough, and then some walker-by pulls out their fucking phone to film it.

I saw one, where the person on the ground tried to catch the person jumping (looked like 100ft+) looked like both died

You would probably injure yourself. I actually worked in trauma for some time and have seen plenty of legitimate attempts pulled off by people that failed. 120 feet into water would certainly hurt, it has certainly killed people, but people cliff dive from 90 ft, 120ft, even 150 feet, and live all the time. You would also be pulled out very quickly no doubt.

It's risky to jump, since people even survive 15+ stories high. A russian guy jumped from a 19th story but landed on a car and had a couple injuries, just a precaution

Is it possible to be in a coma or major brain damage afterwards? Other than common/bone-related injuries?

Please don't. I can't even imagine the physical pain of landing, and if you survive which can very well happen, your reasons to ctb will be nothing compared to the agony you will experience. Don't do this to yourself...

Do it you won't survive and you'll die on impact and the fall will be insanely sick
