Hi Guys,

So a few days back at the Hospital I was have told I have an enlarged heart. Went doctors today after sitting at my desk today and taking a deep breath like every 30 seconds or so. They have booked me in for a full scan on my heart.

Bit of background information. For the last 15 years or so I have drank and smoked. Last few years got into harder stuff (cocaine and speed) went off the rails in 2019 and did far too much Cocaine and it seems to have finally caught up with me.

It is what it is and I certainly don't want any sympathy, hell I know there are many more people here that have issues that are not of their own making but in making this thread I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share what issues they may have and if you woud mind sharing some information on what maybe got you that condition was it something you were born with, or came out about, or even like me kind of your fault?

I have severe OCD. I was born with anxiety, then developed depression and then the OCD manifested when I was 19, some psychosis after that. Too much to take, everyday is torment on this planet. Mental illness are demonic bastards that steal lives before they can even start.

In 2012 I had the flu and developed severe chest pains right after. Went to the heart doctor, they did some tests on my heart and said there was nothing wrong with me and sent me on my way. I just lived with it and it flares up when I am anxious, not getting enough sleep, drinking alcohol, etc. A few years after that I developed gastritis, did a bunch of stool test and again I am perfectly healthy. It really messes with my mind being in chronic pain all the time and for doctors to keep running tests on me and telling me I am healthy. This issue has seriously affected my relationships with people.

I don't know if Aspergers counts, but it is a developmental disorder from the Autism spectrum disorder and really fucks up my relations and communication between people. I simply just don't fit and don't get body language cues and/or understand how interactions work. It's incredibly frustrating and also has cost me many opportunities in life that most people take for granted. Also, I have some sort of anxiety issue that fucked me badly when it comes to doing things and doing it well.

I have bad OCD, anxiety and panic attacks. It is very difficult for me to go anywhere that is crowded or in a small space. Can't get on an airplance. Had prostate cancer 2 years ago, had it removed. It came back this past summer and I had to go through 37 straight days of radiation treatment.

Years of struggling with Bipolar 1, already suicidal... then, in 2016, I underwent an avoidable procedure that lead to a permanent physical problem. But my ultimate demise came in 2018, when I was stupidly jumping around and injured my foot... this resulted in a terrible pain condition called CRPS. Both situations were my fault, so I understand your frustration.

Dang, a lot of people are here because of failed surgeries. Especially ones that were unnecessary.

I have Bipolar I.

The meds I take for my Bipolar have given me metabolic syndrome, thyroid issues and hyperinsulinemia. The weight gain has aggravated serious injuries in my joints (many previously broken and surgically repaired.)

I also have a mouth full of bad teeth that need serious work I can't afford, tremors and shakiness, high blood pressure and IBS.

It's been a cavalcade of medical issues that adds on like a snowball rolling downhill.

It sucks. My appearance makes me want to cry every time I look in a mirror and most days something hurts, fails to work or is just too much to deal with.
