If I ever catch myself feeling in any way guilty or 'less than' for claiming state benefits I just remind myself that if this society was truly civilised and not barbarous there would be peaceful painless assisted death for people like me who are sick of life and tormented by mental or physical illness. I have not asked to be here, I'm here by default/under duress. It sucks but SI is a bastard and calmly taking your own life goes against every hard wired biological instinct we have.
So yeah. I know you guys are 'life at all costs'. I've had the freaking welfare check from the police for daring to make a plan and ordering stuff online. For some reason, incomprehensible to me, you want me alive SO PAY ME
To anyone else on benefits, do you ever feel guilty or do you feel, like me, that since you're here AGAINST YOUR WILL on this PRISON PLANET that it's the very least they can do?
