In my case simply just existing makes me aware of the fact that I'm suicidal. I spend every waking moment wishing to be free from this world as I'm tired of being here.
But, yes fireworks are so horrible to me, I'm glad I've heard none recently where I live but I know that it always gets bad around the start of the new year. Unnecessary noise which disturbs sleep is definitely one of the things that makes me wish to ctb even more.

My mom said the same thing to me (over 30 yrs ago). That's why I seriously don't ever use that "D" word. Never. I hope you find some peace...even for a few moments.
