I wouldn't be surprised if We Folks of the Wee Hours are disproportionately represented here. --- https://www.thefix.com/are-night-owls-more-prone-depression
I hope you find Peace.Used to be a night owl, it was my comfortable bubble in this world, sitting there with no one to judge, no responsibilities, just me and silence. Then I use to get horrible nightmares due to a traumatic event, and sleep time became "I hope they're not coming for me tonight". When I see the sun sets, my heart races and I feel them coming. It's been 7 years, I've been to numerous therapies and ate the equivalent of a candy store in antidepressant and shit. I'm so tired. My bubble of comfort burst and I have nowhere to go. Except in the unknown. Soon.
There's something about the night: I even hiked solo at night in a national forest: I informed someone of My plan & used a spelunking headlamp!I was always and still am more comfortable being awake at night and sleeping in the day. I was was given the nickname 'Dracula' in my late teens/early 20's
