Hey all, I will be attempting very soon with yew poisoning. I should have double the lethal dose. This thread is mainly for documentation purposes for other people to look at for reference. What I did was I collected around 80 grams of yew. Simmered them in water for 30 minutes, then boiled them with a solution of 80%water and 20% alcohol for around 20 minutes. I have also eaten a little less today. This is my second time attempting this method, the first time I messed up the dosage, I got all my limbs numbed, was a very interesting experience. Didn't feel uncomfortable or any other side effect, might've been because I slept through it.
I am not too sure if this will work, but I'm giving it a shot, what's the worst that can happen.

I will hang around for until I consume the entirity of the brew I made, after that I might stick around for a little longer, but I wish to be asleep before (if any) negative effects kick in.

I wish you luck and that you find peace from this method. 🖤
How long does it take to activate? And was it from the seeds?

the trick is to drink the brew and stuff a candy in your mouth.

It should take around 15 minutes to have minor effects. I am using leaves, the toxicity varies depending on the season. It's most poisonous during winter which works in my favor.

By the time of this post, I have already drank all of the brew...around 5 minutes ago.

not the fruits, the flesh of the fruit is harmless, and tbh is most of the tree. If you don't extract the poison, there's most likely no consequences of consuming yew aside from it maybe causing a stomachache because your stomach couldn't digest it.

I just read the symptoms of yew seed poisoning on the Internet. It says about severe abdominal pain, cramps and suffocation...
sorry, but it sounds scary.
I hope you miraculously managed to avoid the pain

OP used yew leafs and since they boiled it along with alcohol into some sort of brew, the side effect might be a little different, or it might be lethal quickly enough to the point that they might not experience the other side effects. Never looked into yew leafs myself, just yew seeds.

I think this time I messed up the brew? But I got the numbness effect again alongside chest pain but it wasn't all too bad. Boiling the yew is to get rid of the toxin that causes stomach pain, so I didn't get those.

I'm sorry the attempt didn't work. At least you got the numbness and not too much pain. I was interested to see if yew could be a reliable and peaceful method, but every thread I've read about it has resulted in failing.

How do you feel currently? On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is the pain?
