Yet another SN concern(?)

From what I've read it is possible to survive even if you do everything right if you are super healthy and have a good metabolism but with a guide and neutralizing acid environment in your stomach the chances of surviving should be way lower compared of not doing it.

I came across this in a thread earlier. It is the first time I have ever seen anything like this during my weeks of SN research.

Anyone know if there's any validity to this claim? I only weigh 112 pounds and have an incredibly fast metabolism. Just ordered my SN today, so if it's gonna end up being a bust, then... yikes. I haven't planned that far ahead yet. This makes me worry about the amount of SN needed. For lower body weights it's supposed to be less, but it sure seems like more would be preferable if this claim has any truth to it. And more SN means vomiting becomes a possible dealbreaker.

There could be a few possibilities for people who survive it even if they did everything right :
- it was nitrate
- they didn't take enough for their weight. (I recommend 360 x weight in kg then divide by 1000)
- they have hemochromatosis or naturally high iron levels (hereditary hemochromatosis is more common in Northern Europeans. High iron is also more common among certain ethnicities- east Asian/ pacific islanders)

I guess in the new ppeh acid reducers aren't recommended anymore, which doesn't make sense but whatever.

im also having a crazy high metabolism
i have everything i need to ctb but the fear of failing because of my metabolism is holding me back ..
my fear is that too much Nitrite gets converted to Nitrate and its not enough Nitrite left to kill me but enough to (brain)damage me
i have nightmares almost every night about failing and its driving me insane

Hi I failed an attempt with SN. It was because I didn't use enough. I was under the impression that even the smallest amount of SN could kill you since I've seen some reports of it on here. I am what I consider to be healthy. I also think that had somewhat to do with why I survived. My only word of advice is to research thoroughly and use the correct measurements. In my opinion I'd rather use more SN since using less is what made me fail my attempt. Also I'm not sure SN is as safe as people claim. I do believe it messes with kidneys and your ability to pee afterwards. Even though I don't have any written data or evidence. I only think this because after my failed attempt I wasn't able to pee. The doctors told me it was a UTI. Maybe it's underlying kidney damage since I didn't tell them about my attempt. I don't have any problems now but you can't really tell if you have underlying kidney problems they usually progress slowly. I'm sorry if this has worried you I don't mean to scare you I just want to inform you because I wish someone had done the same for me before I made my attempt.

I got it from uncle b3z0s, it was pure enough to use, I'm not sure of the options now and how great they are since this happened a year ago.

What were some of your symptoms you experienced if you don't mind me asking? Did you have any shortness of breath?

At first I just started to get blue. Actually it was kind of amusing to see, I felt like the corpse bride. Then I started to get little chills and my heart beat was speeding up, nothing major and no pain. I wasn't too freaked out and was able to stay scrolling away on my phone. This all happened in the span of around 10pm to 3am I think. I wasn't really keeping track of time. But after I don't know how long I started to get nauseous and started to vomit. Now I'm not going to lie this was the worst part that I will never forget. Which is why if you're going to do SN you have to get it right because now I don't think I'll ever be able to attempt withSN again. I didn't eat much before my attempt so I was basically vomiting up saliva and it was the worst feeling. I felt like I was going to throw my insides up. My throat was burning and the smell was the worst part. The smell haunts me to the point that if I think about it or smell anything close to that smell I get nauseous and have to stop myself or else I will vomit again. I cant think about the taste of it either. My throat was burning but I didn't throw up blood. Then after hours of vomiting I fell asleep thinking that was it. Then I woke up in the morning as usual with my skin back to normal. I was able to spend that day with my family normally with nothing out of the usual. But then I noticed when I was going to the bathroom I couldn't pee, only a couple drops. After I took pills for my uti I was able to pee more but I still feel like it wasn't the same as before if that makes sense. That was all a year ago and to this day I haven't had any major kidney complications or any other for that matter that have interrupted my way of life. If I do have any lasting damage it hasn't shown any major symptoms yet. I do believe I have some kidney damage from that attempt but I don't have any way of finding out, only time will tell. Please think twice about SN having no side effects.

What dosage did you take? You said you didn't use enough but was that 1g or 10g or?

Some people here like to say that amounts under 10 grams are fatal and will kill you. No, it MIGHT kill you, but important factors such as body weight aren't taken into consideration.

Isn't your metabolism just for converting food to energy? I don't think it would have to do anything with the onset of methemaglobinemia. The things that would be responsible for that is the enzyme NADPH methemoglobin reductase. I think metabolism is just more converting fat and carbs to energy.

But I don't know, I'm no expert. I'd say if you took enough for only weighing 112 lbs, it wouldn't matter how fast your metabolism was. You're at an advantage for being underweight.

Hopefully i am successful with my attempt. I'm only using 25g even though i weight roughly 240lb. Someone suggested i consume 35g but with 25 already being disgustingly enough to cause heavy nausea there's no way I'll be able to keep 35g down. I gotta figure out substitutes for the other medication before taking the ab though.
