At least to me, any day of the year is a great time to ctb. In my case, the sooner the better. But yes, I do like the sound of leaving this world just before the new year starts in particular, as I always have so much dread associated with it and I hate the fact how I've managed to exist for yet another year. Sadly I will very likely still be here next year even know I've wished to leave for such a long time.

I don't know if it's necessarily a "good" time. But if it works for others, then have at it. The holidays don't mean alot to me. A day like any other day. No sob story. Just the way it is.

Holidays are nothing to me, either. I do nothing different on those days that I don't already do any other day of the year. There is nothing special about them. Just another day to me and that's how I treat them. I could CTB on Christmas or New Year's day, but just not quite ready, yet. It has nothing to do with the days being Christmas and New Year's day, though. Bah Humbug.

I used to worry about this; I didn't want to ruin the holidays for everyone or make anyone think I hated my gifts so much I killed myself over it. At this point, I don't care.
