used to be a daily visitor to this site depressing i know !! but went to check in on it the other day and its gone - why is reddit banning all these sites that refer to death first sanctioned suicide now WPD !!!!!!!

Honestly reddit wants to be a popular social network/aggregator/whatever, as much as many of us might not like it I think they're stepping in the right direction. Go to liveleak or some similar site to watch sick things!

To me its the same as complaining that graphic videos aren't allowed on Facebook. Its expected and pointless and there are other places where that censorship doesn't exist. Its not like you're unable to still access that content.

Hell even this forum "censors" if you're simply against moderation. Just my opinion. The internet allows for full free speech if you go to the appropriate platforms, some people don't want to see certain content on their popular services and it will always be that way.

Hmm good argument but why the change of heart when it has been on there for years? Oh you'll say it's because their becoming more user friendly, but if that offends them that much then why isn't every NSFW subreddit being quarantined? Every single subreddit that was quarantined is something the admins are obviously too butt hurt and 'muh feelings' about other people's opinions. Their agenda is to only show a very biased view of the world that it's beautiful and full of Earthporn,Aww,Happy, etc etc. bullshit.

Reddit is a shitty site for free speech anyway IMO, if you speak against the majority your comments get down voted out of view.

Edit: also of they have an agenda I think its likely to keep their site up and available to as many people as possible. I'm sure they'd rather abide by laws of certain countries to keep the site unblocked there than allow some minorities a voice I'm sorry to say. Not trying to justify it but I don't think they have an agenda of spreading a false world view.

Well thanks for your input. It just sucks all around cause I only go on reddit for the bad shit where reality shows its true colors. I mean I like the S-S site and it helps but there aren't many posts or content to help make the time go by as compared to reddit. The creator of reddit killed himself too so. That's reality.
