Not so much- do you think there is a God/Gods More- would you like there to be one and- why?

Personally, I hope there isn't one because I think that either means they created things like suffering deliberately. Or, they allow it to happen. Or, they're too weak to stop it. None look like good outcomes to me. I'd prefer it that this was all down to stupid chance.

Yes, I wish that a god can appear and magically make our lives better. I wish that the god who appears is actually kind. I don't want a religious god to appear who is narcissistic just like humans to where they want to be worshipped but having a god who can change humanity to make it where I don't have to work or deal with responsibilities sounds so peaceful. This world is incredibly backwards and I wish that a god can make it right again. Sadly, no such god will ever exist

No I wouldn't trust a God as why do they get to decide who lives and who dies ? Why do they let so many innocent people suffer ?

That's an interesting way to look at it. Yes- that makes sense though. It's not like we're likely to get that far by questioning what the hell they think they're doing- even if there was one and we could ask them.

I guess I find it distressing that there could be real mallice behind everything though. That troubles me. The idea of a sadist at the helm. I prefer the idea that the bad stuff is all an unfortunate accident and the 'good' stuff too.

I never asked myself this question... When I think about it, the existence of God only causes ptsd in me. I have difficulties seeing him as anything other than a narcissistic pervert. Control over everyone, all this suffering, you can neither be sad nor think interesting things... A horror... Besides, I don't like hierarchical relationships at all.

I'd be pissed.
To think that there's an omnicient god, choosing to invent a world like this, choosing to allow so many to suffer (I know, I know, god's decision to allow bad things to happen is a common discussion balance blah blah blah) choosing not to explicitly reveal themselves or offer concrete evidence, and then assuming we're talking about a god with a heaven/hell system you mean to tell me you feel that it is ethically sound, and logical, for anyone one individual to suffer for the rest of eternity for a few dealbreaking decisions? Or the oposite, for horrible people to live lavish for the rest of eternity for just getting by?

I don't know. it doesn't sit right with me if there were a god.

I dunno how I feel about the concept of God. If He is the Father everyone says He is why does He let some if His children suffer so? As a parent (or in His case parent figure) wouldn't He want to help His children make the right decisions?? Wouldn't He WANT to step in when an injustice occurs? I dunno. I have a real hard time with this concept, given what I have seen and experienced in my life.
