I might join certain Christian cults just for the entertainment though. I remember, a neighbor of mine, convinced me to visit her church once and it was some of the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life. I literally couldn't stop laughing, no matter how hard I tried not to... And I tried really hard not to laugh because I didn't want to be an asshole surrounded by 100s of people who took all this seriously but no amount of discipline and willpower could prevent it. There was Christian rock playing in the background and people got up and started dancing...in ways...I've never thought possible by human beings... Words can not even describe it... Not even people who are on the border of alcohol poisoning in a night club could dance like they could... And I've seen insanely drunk people dancing in night clubs, all over North America and Europe...

Maybe. It really depends on a lot of circumstances, if it was pro-choice and allowed me to die on my own terms (when, where, how, etc.), then most likely yes. If it wasn't but rather pushed their views on others and dictate how others' live their lives, then I would not join.

Not a chance … I have enough problems. I doubt you would get access to anything to help CTB. Especially after just joining. You may have to be in the cult for years. I don't know much about them to be honest. I don't know if that many of them would even have the "materials" to enable you to CTB.
If there were a bunch of people CTB at the same time, it would probably be shut down.

like if their doctrine was to do a mass peaceful ctb on a certain date, and they were casual about drugs and free love and all you had to do was cook lentils for the co-op til ctb. or like Heaven's Gate, you got to wear cool velvet tracksuits and be celibate. Whichever you prefer.

If it is secular or Satanic, why not? I have nothing else to live for lol. Worst case, it sucks and I ctb as planned. Best case, it's fun and I can ctb more peacefully and with "friends". It might give me a little bit of legacy which would be interesting.

Well if I took over, there would not be any Christian rock and people dancing, so I'd be able to hold back my laughter.

I would be more concerned with whether they helped compel me to a peaceful ctb than with whether they were my true friends.
I never had a true friend while I was alive, I might be slightly more likely to find one in a death cult, but I doubt it.
